Tiger Ambassadors

The Tiger Ambassador program is an opportunity for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students to showcase their leadership skills on campus.  The program is facilitated by the principal who meets regularly with the students.  Ambassadors will participate in a variety of activities throughout the school year to help support a safe, caring, and supportive learning environment for all students with a focus on the 6 pillars of character.  

Some of the activities you will see our Ambassadors participating in are as follows: assisting with character assemblies, student mediation on the playground, welcoming and waving traffic forward in the drop-off lane before school, providing a student perspective during school tours for new families, and being a buddy to another Cortina student.  They are also active in volunteering at local community organizations as well as donating their time to assist during school or PTO sponsored events.  

We are proud of our students and look forward to a great year where our student leaders can make a difference in our school community!
