Announcements

Veterans Day 2025 - Offices Closed

All Higley Unified School District schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Regular schedules will resume on Wednesday, November 12th.

Meal Resources for Families

Students currently approved for Free school meal benefits based on their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) eligibility will continue to receive a free breakfast and lunch daily on school days at Higley Unified School District.

These school meal benefits are not impacted by the suspension of November SNAP benefit monies due to the current government shutdown.

If your family has been affected by the government shutdown, we encourage you to re-apply if your income has decreased.

Families can re-apply for free/reduced meal benefits at any time during the school year by completing another application at https://linqconnect.com.

If you are in need of additional meal assistance during this time, 2-1-1 Arizona has a variety of resources in our area including food banks that can provide meals for free.

If you would like to assist those in need during this time, our #HigleyHelps district-wide service initiative is a great place to start. Many of our schools are hosting food drives and other events to provide for our community. Visit the #HigleyHelps page of our website to see a list of service projects happening now, or to connect with one of our schools.
